Project Overview
The goal of this project is to redesign the existing “Plan and Budget Organization” website to improve its user experience (UX) and user interface (UI). The website should provide a seamless and intuitive experience for users, making it easier for them to understand and engage with the organization’s services and resources.
Target Audience
We identified the target audience for the website redesign. We considered their demographics, goals, and needs. For example, the target audience was include Ordinary people with different conditions (e.g. literacy level and different abilities), businesses, or government organizations at first seeking news of financial planning and budgeting of the country, deciding about the budget and something like these.
User Research
We did research to find the current pain points and preferences of the target audience. This research involved interviews with the public relations department, surveys, and usability testing. The findings helped us redesign the process and create user-centered solutions.
Architecture
Our goal is to develop a clear, user-friendly and intuitive information architecture for the website.
First of all, we should know that the first goal is to inform the news of the organization, as a result, the most and main part of the home page the screen is dedicated to the news of the organization. The main structure of the website should not be changed and cause confusion to the users. Tabs and divisions are made according to the previous data. The main sections that are on the home page should remain on the home page.
Prototypes
The design of the prototype helped us to have a better presentation and understanding of the user flow and to have a closer view of the output of the project
UI Design
We tried to develop a visually appealing and consistent UI design for the website. We had to consider the branding guidelines of the organization and create a design that reflects their identity. Typography, color schemes, images, patterns and hierarchies had to be in line with the rules of the organization and we created a beautiful and user-friendly user interface according to all the instructions and the combination of creativity and thinking of the team.
Responsive
considering the increasing number of users accessing websites on mobile devices we had to design mobile views too. The website should adapt seamlessly to different screen resolutions without compromising usability.
Accessibility
We incorporated accessibility best practices to make the website inclusive and usable for all users, including those with disabilities. We considered proper color contrast, provided alternative text for images, and implemented keyboard navigation and screen reader compatibility.
Usability
We designed a feedback part in the “Contact us” page for usability testing and gathered feedback from users to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement.
Cooperation and communication
Maintained effective collaboration and communication with stakeholders, team members, developers, PR and other relevant parties. We regularly communicated and collected feedback as the project progressed, and addressed any concerns or questions throughout the design process.
By
following these instructions, we provided the “Plan and Budget Organization” website with a better user experience and made it easier for users to access and use the organization’s services and resources.
